Those rand figures are site copy, not a Takealot scrape. Mesh is for multi-floor houses; one Wi-Fi 6 box in the passage is enough for a single-storey lounge.
QoS: make the Firestick the VIP
The buffering guide already says it: Xbox patches, Windows Update and iCloud can saturate a 100 Mbps line. On a Wi-Fi 6 router, prioritise the streaming device MAC. That is a one-tap setting on AX55-class boxes — do it before you blame NAPAfrica.
Stabilise the lounge in twenty minutes
Order the work: cable, then SSID, then router. Buying mesh first is how money disappears.
- Run Ethernet if the TV is near the router. Flat 10 m cable (~R200) into the Smart TV, or USB-Ethernet on the Firestick (~R250).
- Rename 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Connect the stick to the 5G name only. Forget the old combined SSID on that device.
- Turn on QoS for the stick. Prioritise its MAC. Pause game downloads during a derby.
- Replace the ISP router only if 4K still ladders. AX55 / RT-AX55 / AX73 band already published. Put the ISP unit in bridge mode if your fibre login requires it — your ISP documents that, not this page.
- Re-test SuperSport 4K. If it is still ugly on Ethernet, that is a provider CDN ticket. Say 'on Ethernet' in WhatsApp so we do not debug Wi-Fi.
